As part of the CEC Going Green project, one elementary and one high school in Cobb County and one middle school in Marietta City initiated energy conservation or recycling efforts in the 2009-2010 school year. The schools' stories are unique, and they all experienced set-backs and enjoyed successes. The following case studies provide a brief overview of these schools’ conservation efforts, a timeline of implementation activities, and reflections for improvement. Their stories are presented as learning experiences for other schools in Cobb that are considering an energy conservation effort. The full case studies are available by clicking each example below.
